At Faith Church @ Jacksonville, it is our primary aim to please Almighty God. We have been commissioned by God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son to Evangelize the World, Exalt the Savior, Edify the Church and Equip the Saints. EVANGELIZE THE WORLD - Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. EXALT THE SAVIOR - John 12:32 But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto myself. EDIFY THE CHURCH - Ephesians 4:12...to equip His people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up. Our vision at FCJax is to “Pursue the Unconnected and Prepare The Connected” everywhere at all times as God transforms them to become more like Jesus Christ in their attitudes and behaviors. We desire to see God glorified in marriages and families, relationships, the workplace, the church and the community in which we serve. We also visualize racial and religious barriers being destroyed worldwide as we come together as one Holy people serving the one Holy God realizing that “ALL LIVES MATTER”. At FCJax, we believe this is only possible as we practice and value our COMMITMENT, PRAISE and WORSHIP to God as we allow the WORD of God to mold us into the FAMILY of God.Our Core Values
In order for us to be faithful and fruitful in our vision at FCJax, we value COMMITMENT, PRAISE, WORSHIP, the WORD and FAMILY. Our core values are consistent, passionate, biblical distinctive convictions that determines our priorities, influence our decisions and drive our ministry. Our core values also instill passion in us by generating emotion and energy. The core values at FCJax are: COMMITMENT - 1 Kings 8:61 Our commitment demonstrates our stewardship. We are committed to serving God with our total being (body, soul and spirit). We are also committed to model the life of Jesus Christ to a lost world to win souls for Christ. PRAISE - Psalm 150 Our praise is genuine to God and at FCJax, we value the praise of our God because we are instructed by the psalmist David to praise God with every instrumrnt of our being, internal and external. WORSHIP - John 4:24 Our worship of the one true God is sacred and sincere. Because He is Spirit, we must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. WORD - 2 Timothy 3:16-17 Our value of God's Word at FCJax is based solely on the fact that it is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and training in righteouness, theat the man of God may be competent, equipped in every good work. We believe that the Word is living and active, and cut through the soul and spirit revealing the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
